To enhance the visual appeal of the Vertex Lifestyle Plaza and drive foot traffic through “Instagrammable” moments, the client commissioned a custom IP (Intellectual Property) mascot. The objective was to create a recognizable, friendly character that acts as a focal point for the entrance area, encouraging social media engagement and creating a unique brand identity for the venue.

2. Design Concept

The “Nebula Neko” character embodies themes of futuristic optimism and playfulness.

Visual Style: Smooth, ergonomic curves with a stylized, minimalist aesthetic.
Material Selection: Fiberglass was chosen for its ability to hold intricate details, smooth surfaces, and high-gloss vibrant colors, ensuring durability for outdoor weathering while maintaining a premium feel.
Interactivity: The sculpture is designed at an interactive scale, allowing visitors to pose next to the character for photos.
